This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are processed for QuantaNote subscriptions. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it outlines your rights and our procedures.

Subscription Cancellation

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation requests can be submitted:

  • Through your QuantaNote account dashboard under "Billing" settings
  • By emailing us at support@quantanote.com with your account details
  • Through our customer support chat (if available)

Effective Date of Cancellation

When you cancel a subscription, it will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to all paid features until your subscription expires. After expiration, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund, regardless of your usage.
  • Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical problems that prevent you from using the Service, and our support team is unable to resolve them, you may be eligible for a prorated refund.
  • Billing Errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part, we will issue a full refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Cancellation requests made after 14 days of purchase
  • If you have exceeded the monthly paper limit for your plan
  • If you have violated our Terms of Service
  • If you cancel after using a significant portion of your monthly allocation
  • Refunds for partially used subscription periods (after 14 days)

Refund Processing

Processing Time

Refund requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days after approval. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Prorated Refunds

For approved refunds requested after the 14-day guarantee period, we may issue a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription. The prorated amount will be calculated from the date of your refund request to the end of your current billing period.

Free Plan

The Free plan does not require payment and can be canceled at any time without notice. There are no refunds applicable to the Free plan as no charges are made.

Payment Methods

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction. If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., expired card), please contact our support team to arrange an alternative refund method.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. To prevent automatic renewal, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can manage your auto-renewal settings in your account's billing section.

If you cancel before the renewal date, you will not be charged for the next billing period, but your current subscription will remain active until it expires.

Downgrades

You can downgrade your subscription plan at any time through your account settings. When you downgrade:

  • Your new plan will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
  • You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until the current period ends
  • No refunds will be issued for downgrades; you will receive the full value of your current subscription period
  • If you exceed your new plan's limits, features may be restricted

Disputed Charges

If you notice an unauthorized charge or have questions about a charge on your account, please contact us immediately at support@quantanote.com. We will investigate the issue and work to resolve it promptly. If the charge is found to be an error, we will issue a full refund.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
